Lost holiday photos from my digital camera card...

Now that we’re into the New Year, it’s time for downloading, reviewing and saving all the digital photos we took over the holidays. There is no way of knowing, but I imagine hundreds of thousands were taken. Digital cameras, smartphones and other devices recorded our memories. You’d think that someone like me would know better. But, unbelievably, I lost some of our holiday snapshots. It was our granddaughter’s first Christmas, so the photos held special significance. Losing them put me in the doghouse.

I need my digital pictures and my camera card won't mount...

Well, Dad’s taken up a new hobby. Mom got him a slide and negative converter as an early Christmas present. He’s now changing decades of 35mm slides into digital photos on his computer. He’s enjoying it immensely and even asked me if he could make a little money doing this for other folks.
